How we work
Our Process
Our clients come from all over the world and most of our projects are handled remotely: consultation by phone, email communication and encrypted file transfer via the internet. We have a well-developed process for project management and secure communication with clients. Meetings in person are also welcome.
The initial consultation is free - we'll get details about the problem from you and provide a project proposal with a timetable for delivery dates.
Rates
Most of our clients choose to engage us through a project based scope of work. The cost of the project is then determined by the scope of work and its complexity. If you prefer an hourly rate, please contact us for our fixed rate. Our rate reflects our ability to provide you with high quality and rigorous results at a competitive price.
Projects
We take on projects that require statistical and data analytical expertise. Please see "Projects" for a sample of the work we have done in the last 5 years.
All projects at Raven Analytics are headed by Rahul Dodhia, Ph.D. At any one time there are no more than four ongoing projects. Some projects may be worked on by more than one consultant depending on case load and expertise. You'll always know who is working on your project and will be able to contact them directly.
Progress
We will be in regular contact with you, keeping you up-to-date on an agreed schedule. In addition to these ongoing updates, you'll be provided with a preview of the results before the final report is prepared.
Deliverables:
We will work together with you at the outset to outline specific deliverables in our scope of work and initial contract. Typically, progress reports at regular intervals with a final written report are requested. The final report is usually in narrative Word format or executive PowerPoint format so you can cut and paste portions of it into your own documents. Depending on your needs, the final report can range from a detailed description of methods and results to a high level senior executive presentation.
